More about Susannah

Susannah Horwitz, LPC, LMHC, is a trauma-informed, nature-based expressive arts therapist and licensed professional counselor, serving clients located in Colorado, Massachusetts and Florida. She received her Masters degree in Intermodal Expressive Arts Therapies from Lesley University in 2003. She was an expressive arts therapist and director of the Project Launch college and career access program at RAW Art Works from 2004-2013. She has been a private practice owner since 2010. Susannah is a Certified EMDR therapist and also trained with both Skylight Psychedelics and Integrative Psychiatry Institute to become a Certified Ketamine-Assisted Therapy provider and Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist. 

In her private practice, she loves to bring therapy clients “off the couch” and into the outdoors for Nature & Arts based EMDR intensives to help clients connect with the multifaceted powers of imagination, sense of humor, playfulness, and creativity to heal trauma and thrive. She specializes in working with caregivers such as medical professionals, wellness professionals, and parents who have experienced medical or relationship trauma, as well as those who identify as neurodivergent.  In addition to her practice as a therapist, she is the founder of the Well-Connected Therapist coaching program, which she created to support introverted and neurodivergent private practice therapists to build community through embodied, authentic connection.
